I was introduced to Jesus Christ and accepted him at the early age of 4 years old. My parents were very instrumental as examples and taught me and my siblings about Jesus as far back as I can remember.

Growing up in Brazil, I would “attend” a Chinese Church and go to Sunday school. I would be the kid that would eat the snack before the Sunday school teacher would say prayer.

I was raised in a Christian home from birth and was always taken to Sunday School and church. Through my Dad’s Air Force career, we attended non-denominational Christian Chapels. I do not know that I fully understood the Word, but I was being prepared.

I was raised in the Catholic Faith since an early age and had two wonderful role models in my parents who were very involved in the church as religious educators, ushers and helping those on spiritual retreats. We would attend church services frequently and were encouraged to join Bible studies and help out with outreach programs.
